Firstly, I apologize at the lateness of this submission and in any sideways or upside down position it may be in. I intended to submit this months ago. Secondly, I intended to actually wear it as well. Unfortunately, my hair stylist, make up artist and freelance photographer (also known as my best friend) was out of town at the time. Once she returns, I shall have a proper rêveur portrait taken.

I’d spent months trying to put together a proper rêveur wardrobe, when I had it in my closet all along. The dress I was lucky enough to still fit after my graduation four years prior. Below that, are my choices of gloves. Three of them, the two white ones and the short black ones, belonged to my great-grandmother. I’m having difficulty deciding which ones I like best.

Next to the dress is my lace shawl, which was a gift from a very dear friend. The black clutch below was another treasure that was my great-grandmother’s as well. Along with that, I have my favorite red lipstick and gloss to match.

Now the only thing I need to acquire are proper shoes.

The circus arrives without warning. No announcements precede it. It is simply there, when yesterday it was not.

The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern is not only a captivating story, but wonderfully inspirational for every Cosplayer. Well, at least it was for us. We wanted to capture some moments from this magnificent tale in our photos, and while we didn’t even manage to stage all of our ideas in the time we had, I’m very proud of what we achieved. I wanted to share some of the pictures with everybody who loves the book as much as we do, and in case you haven’t read it yet - please do. I can promise you won’t regret it.

These are so charming!!
